Kirby Inkers Unite! Mike Carbo's New York Comic Book Market Place

March 27, 2012

This weekend is a power weekend for comic shows. On Saturday, March 31st, Mike Carbo's New York Comic Book Market Place event. For any Jack Kirby fan in the area or those who can travel, you must attend it! First off, a very rare appearance by Stan Lee. If thats not enough this is one of the very rare occasions when so many of artists who have inked Jack Kirby are at one event at the same time. Perhaps the only time this will happen. Here is the list:

  1. 1. Joe Sinnott
  2. 2. Greg Theakston
  3. 3. Dick Ayers
  4. 4. Neal Adams

The Jack Kirby Museum will also attend and have a booth. Rand Hoppe from the museum will be there and I will be there representing What if Kirby at the Museum booth as well. We will have our wide format scanner ready for any attendees who wish to have their Kirby art archived. So please have your Kirby art archived and preserved in digital format for research and preservation for the Jack Kirby Original Art Digital Archive.

Then on Sunday, April 1st in Secaucus NJ is the Comic Art Con. I will again be set up with Bechara Maalouf of Nostalgic Investments archiving art from collectors and dealers so if you can't make Saturday's show, come see WiK on Sunday at the Comic Art Con.

Thank you and I hope to see you this weekend!
