Is it already Christmas?
The last panel is so iconic.
I fondly remember a french FF poster probably produced from a swipe of this very panel.
Only the last panel is already worth the entry ticket!
Btw, from the different intensity of blacks, you can tell the parts that Joe inked with brush and pen. Judging from the third panel, it looks like Joe used pen to ink the rocks in the Thing... (zoom for better viewing). Experts?
No more pages?
Is Tom already retired?
I put 2 pages up over the weekend, 2 days ago. Boy the pay on this job is horrible!
But, but… Look at Kirby, he could pencil a whole issue on a weekend!
You have to show yourself worthy of the King's legacy, Tom.
I know you are up to the task, so bring on the Fantastic For Us!
OK but at least Kirby got $25 or so a page. I get $0 a page multiplied by $0 equals $0.
The money might be bad, but you get MUCH KIRBY LUV from us all!
OK, I just put my money where my mouth is. So now… At work, slave! LOL
Thanks Krackles, although appreciated, it wasn't necessary. It is a labor of love and my reward is seeing all this art I archive in person for a brief moment while I scan it before I hand it back.
I wish I was independently wealthy and could do this and other Kirby Museum work full-time but I must pay the bills...
