Just looking at this page to see how thick Joe's ink line was at the original art size of 13" or so and it nice to see how how sharp and thin his line is in Reed and Susan's uniforms are. Not sure how well they were reproduced back then as I only have the reprints from the 70's. Gorgeous work here, lovingly done by all.
On a side note, what was the reason for the art size change? I'm under the impression it was so they could save money by shooting two pages at a time instead of one in the stat camera. Is that the reason?
