A devastating combination of two of comics' all-time great talents -- Jack Kirby and Neal Adams -- striking back against The the cause of creators' rights!

Interesting that the face is

Interesting that the face is a paste-up. Shades of John Romita, and Murphy Anderson. Interesting that people made such a huge issue out of Anderson's heavy handed inks on Kirby's Superman heads, but either didn't notice, or thought it was fine when Lee was sometimes having Romita redraw Kirby heads in the 60's. And at Marvel they were characters Kirby had created. I wonder if Kirby even knew; it's said he almost never looked at the printed books.

Nice comparison

Nice comparison to the Jimmy Olsen cover that Adam's did. The Jimmy Olsen cover was heavily reworked by Adams whereas this cover looks much more faithful to Kirby's style. Adam's work is only really noticeable in the hands of the board members.
