Chic… It's Stone!

It was nice to have Chic Stone get another shot at inking Kirby years after his first run on FF.
The result is quite pleasant but with an odd old fashion feel to it compared to the more modern Kirby/Sinnott pairing.

Yes, young ones, Kirby's take on comics was so modern in the sixties.
Everything else looked so tame and outdated next to his work (Still is in my opinion).

response to Chic...It's Stone!

I agree. I think that Chic Stone was one fo the best inkers to work with Jack Kirby, capturing the dynamics of the art as few, aside from Mike Royer, did. Joe Sinnott gave more polish to the art but in trade-off lost a bit of the dynamism.

inker

IT appears that Chic made HEAVY outlines of Jacks pencils on everything on this page; but what do *I* know ?!?!?
