See the miscellaneous tab for Frank Fosco's recreated pencils used by Mike Royer to recreate his pencils.
When I get the chance I'll ink my penciled version. I'll be taking some cues from Mike's work to add to my own to try and bring it more into the Kirby realm.
Great job, Frank and Mike! If DC and Marvel were publishing stuff like this, I might actually be buying some of their comics now...!
It's awesome to see Mike can still turn out some awesome inking when there is a call for it. On another note - how about adding the ability to expand the artwork on all tabs instead of just the primary?
...to see some kind of reaction to this. C'mon guys...can we have some more input. Would you like to see more of this kind of thing? I know of other pieces in the gallery this can be done to.
This is something I plan to add in the next full release of the site (most likely in 2012). The idea would be no matter which tab you're on your cursor would change to a magnify glass over the scan and when clicked, open the art zoom window. Right now I'm focused on adding as much art as I can and doing other upgrades to the site. Zooming all tabs will require a lot of work, not only programming but image processing every scan in every tab for every piece of art.
Can it be colored?
Fantastic job, Mike! That's truly Barda :)
